Q: For the past one week, there is a red swelling on my vagina. If I try meddling, it is painful. It hasn’t grown in size. How do I treat it at home?

There could be many causes of vaginal swelling. Since it started relatively recently and is now red and tender, it might be an infection.

      This one in likely to be a pimple. You may wait for some time for the pimple to regress on its own.

      Avoid friction over the lesion.

      Let us know if it becomes painful, grows in size or number.
