Brownish Green Lumps on the Inner Labia

QI have brown-green lumps on the opening of the clitoris, that is labia minora. They do not hurt or itch. A little down on my labia minora, I have a little bit of redness and swelling. It hurts very little, only on touching. What infection could I possibly have? How can I treat it? I am 14 years old girl.

This is an infection of some sort. Redness and swelling are signs of inflammation that are present in the nearby regions.

It can’t be said exactly what infection it is. It would be better to go to a doctor at the earliest for examination. Delaying would not be good.

The green color present in pus is due to an enzyme called myeloperoxidase. This is released by specific white blood cells of the body in response to some infection.

I’m 14. I have gray-brown lumps on the opening of my clitoris (minora labia). Some of them hurt on pressing.

Two of the lumps are really big. Is it an infection?

Looks like an infection. It would be better not to fiddle with it at home. Visit a doctor at the earliest. You may require antibiotics.

The color of the lumps is due to the stuffs filled in them. It may be pus, infected material.

Do you have any itching, pain, redness and other signs of infection in the area?

I had what I thought was a vaginal yeast infection 3 days ago (today, the 29th of November is day 3). However, I came to realize that the pain and burning were very localized into one very small area. I decided to take a look in a mirror and saw a small, round, flat, whitish patch on the inside of the labia minora. It’s incredibly sore. There isn’t any raised bump or lump of any kind. Any idea as to what this might be or if I should go and see a specialist?

    Thank you.

This appears to be an ulcer. It’s recommended you go for an examination.

Do post the results to help others know about such lesions.

Hi had pain around my vulvar just took a closer look and saw a green-ish white bit, almost like a little patch with a raised green bump. Only small. The pain seems to fade and come. Right now hurts to walk, or sit or anything. it has been painful for 3 days, very uncomfortable. I am a virgin. Am not sure if this is something serious?

This could be an infected clogged gland. Try warm compress over it 2 to 3 times daily. This may help drainage. Remember to be gentle while doing it. Don’t force drainage at any point.

Also, start applying an antibiotic ointment over it, 3 times daily.

Do let us know about any improvement.
