It is normal to feel stomach discomfort after a heavy meal. This is due to over distension of the stomach.

But such conditions usually besides in 6 to 12 hours

Since you are having this problem from two days now, it may not just be a distended stomach.

The probable reasons could be as follows:

  • Peptic ulcer disease– Here the lining of the gastric mucosa gets eroded. The patient typically complains of bloating (burping) with pain in upper part of stomach. Stomachache is usually sharp and boring in nature. This pain may radiate to the back.
  • Gall bladder disease– Here stomachache is accompanied with nausea and vomiting.
  • Food Poisoning– This happens when the food is infected. The patient may have fever and vomiting sensation.
  • Food Intolerance– Some people are intolerant to dairy products like milk, curd or cheese. After consuming such food stuffs, a lot of gas is produced. There is pain in stomach and burping due to gas produced.
  • Irritable Bowel syndrome– This condition is characterized with irregular bowel movement, diarrhea or constipation.

Dear Sir, last January-2014, for a rotten check-up found 4.2 mm gallbladder stone. I have no symptom. Now I have digestion problem, frequently gas coming upward and release from my mouth. Is any relation between this gas and gallstone? Is there treatment for it or surgery required? If gallbladder is removed, will it affect my digestive efficiency? How frequently we want to monitor the gallbladder by ultra sound scan?

There may be a relation between your gas coming from the mouth, that is, burping and the gall bladder disease.

Read above about the possible causes of such situations.

Are you obese? If yes, try to lose weight. This would make a difference in your symptoms, even without medications.
