To prevent the occurrence of pimples on the butt, take care of the following aspects:

Clean the Butt Area

Daily clean the butt area. For this, the best practice is to take a bath daily. You may scrub the butt area gently with a loofah while bathing. This will wash away the exfoliating dead skin and other debris present there.

Harsh soaps and beauty products are not recommended.Gentle scrubbing as mentioned above is usually adequate.

On the other hand, the use of cosmetic products may sometimes cause skin allergy and inflame the area.

Diet

Diet plays an important part in all disease causations, including pimples. Read about preventing buttock pimples by regulating nutrition.

Keeping Your Skin Well Moisturized

After bathing, dab yourself dry with a clean towel. Then, when you moisturize your whole body, put the moisturizing lotion on the buttocks also.

Often we forget to moisturize our butts, rendering them dry. Dry skin is more prone to exfoliations caused by friction all the day. This makes the area prone to pimple formation.

Cotton Undergarments Only

Wear loose cotton undergarments only. The groin region is to be kept clean and dry all the day. Any moisture getting trapped there can make grounds for acne formation.

Also, harsh non cotton fabric give more friction to the butt skin while sitting, walking etc. This friction rubs the skin all the day leading to the accumulation of more debris in the area.

On the other hand, cotton underwears absorb all the moisture and any secretion produced there. Therefore, area stays dry all the day.

Let your over all clothes be breathable and non irritating.

Exercise daily and stay physically active. Sleep well. Occurrence of pimples is also related to our hormones.  Stay healthy to avoid any hormonal imbalance in your body.

Start applying a topical antibiotic cream, like mupirocin (bactroban). Apply it over the bump thrice a day. Continue applying it for a week.

Your lesion is likely to show improvement in two to three days. Let us know if it doesn’t.

White pimple like around the anus. They don’t hurt nor burn but if you scrap over them they bleed, no burning nor itching either. Any ideas?

These are likely to be infected pimples. Start applying a topical antibiotic over them twice daily. You may use mupirocin (bactroban).
