Listening Heart Beat at the Back of the Head
Q: Dear doctor, my name is Helen. Sometimes I have a feeling at the back of my head like I am listening my heart beat there. Is it normal? Please advice.

No, this is not normal.
This may happen in certain cardiac problems involving the valves, like aortic regurgitation.
It may also occur in patients having brain aneurysms.
It is suggested that you visit a specialist for a detailed examination to reach some conclusion. This symptom may be a warning for some impending bigger problem.

Hey doc. Sometimes I can hear my heartbeat in my bed. My mom says it’s because I barely run & when I do I run a lot. Could they be the issue or is it something else?
