Hello, can you recommend some hormonal birth control pill brands?

My dermatologist recommended some (Diane, Alesse, and Yaz). But when I checked these online, there have been reports regarding their side effects, i.e. blot clots and such.

Birth control pills do have certain side effects when taken for a long period. These include blood clots, hypertension etc.

However, in your condition, these pills are important for treatment and so they have to be taken.

These pills have two components in it, estrogen and progesterone. Most of these side effects are due to estrogen. So you may discuss with your doctor about going for progesterone only pills or low estrogen combination pills. This would minimize the risk of getting side effects.

I was diagnosed with a right annexation cystic mass measuring 4.2 x 2.4 cm, six weeks later I was re-scanned and it measured 4.40×4.9×4.0cm. It Also had a loculated appearance. I was scanned again 5 weeks later and they say it is gone? Can you tell me how something that had got so much bigger is now away? And what does it mean by loculated appearance. I’m 16 and every month after my periods I get very sick, nauseous and have no energy.

Were you given some treatment for the adnexal mass?

It is possible that the mass responded to the treatment given and regressed over the time to disappear completely.

Most of such masses are due to hormonal fluctuations in our body. They usually get correct as the hormonal levels are corrected.

No treatment was received from my doc. It has just disappeared on its own? One minute my doc is saying we are looking at surgery the next the cyst is gone
